About Me
My name is Brittany and I'm a 22 year old girl living in Australia. I'm currently studying at University and majoring in writing and literature. I'll pretty much read anything, but I like Young Adult books the most, especially ones that contain anything supernatural, paranormal or historical. I've been an avid reader all my life and don't plan on changing that any time soon.

Mouth-Watering Monday is a weekly meme started by myself (Brittany) at Nice Girls Read Books. As book bloggers, we love to admire pretty covers, old and new. This meme takes the guilt out of judging a book by its cover, instead embracing it and showing off our favourite finds of the week!

You can show off one or more of your most mouth-watering covers!

The Debutantes by Cora Harrison
Mirage by Kristi Cook
Surrender by Elana Johnson
Glamorous Illusions by Lisa T. Bergren

Lovely aquas and pinks this week! I absolutely adore the composition of Cora Harrison’s The Debutantes cover. It’s really unique! As for Kristi Cook and Elana Johnson’s books, beautiful and simple – but so striking! I particularly love the mirror/butterfly and the jar/hummingbird! And need I say anything about Glamorous Illusions? The Eiffel Tower says it all!

Mesmerized by Julia Crane & Talia Jager
Wander Dust by Michelle Warren
Darkness Before Dawn by J.A. London
Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent

Another four gorgeous covers this week! Mostly girls in pretty dresses. I haven’t read any of these (Still haven’t started on the Soul Screamers series, d’oh!) so let me know if any of these are particularly good! Also, if you have a MWM post to share with me, link it up in the comments!

I’m going to start doing things a little differently with this meme. I’m no longer going to put a linky at the end of the post, instead, if you want to participate, just leave me a comment with your post! :) I’ll be sure to take a peek at your MWM if you decide to make one. It was just so much of a hassle to create up a new linky for every week I did this and I felt it was putting me off from making these posts as regular as I would have liked…

Shine Light by Marianne de Pierres
40 Things I Want to Tell You by Alice Kuipers
Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone
Wentworth Hall by Abby Grahame

It’s certainly a pink post this week! What can I say about Shine Light other than it’s absolutely gorgeous! The covers for this series have all been so beautiful and unique, but this one really takes the cake for me! Can’t wait to read it! 40 Things I Want to Tell You looks so cute, too. Love the colours. Time Between Us is a book I am really hanging out for. It’s on my DAC Challenge this year! As for Wentworth Hall, I’m not sure if I’ll be reading this one, but I love the composition of the models and costumes – so Downton Abbey!

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
Glitch by Heather Anastasiu

In my opinion, the cover of City of Lost Souls trumps City of Fallen Angels in every way! I’m a Jace/Clary shipper, so I couldn’t be happier. That being said, I’m not really that fussed on the continuing TMI trilogy as much as I was the first… so it might be a while until I get around to reading this one, once it comes out. As for Glitch, super excited for this one! The bright colours and sci-fi design just makes the wait even harder! A gorgeous cover!

Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone by Kat Rosenfield
The Vicious Deep by Zoraida Cordova
Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick
Bewitching by Alex Flinn

I love the simplicity and dusky colours in Kat Rosenfield’s cover for Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone! As for The Vicious Deep, I think it captures the beauty and danger promised within the story! And those bright reds! Drowning Instinct has a beautiful composition – simple and eye-capturing, and the thing I love most about Bewitching is the font and the colours used in the writing!

Across the Universe (Paperback) by Beth Revis
Allegiance by Cayla Kluver
The White Glove War by Katie Crouch & Grady Hendrix
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

While I love the original cover for Across the Universe, this paperback cover is amazing! I think it captures the story so perfectly and I’m tempted to get a copy just for this one! As for Allegiance, I think it goes with the first book so well – and the autumnal yellows are so pretty! I’ve featured Katie Crouch’s first book, The Magnolia League on another MWM post, so it’s only fitting that this cover for The White Glove War makes the cut, too! The blue hues are beautiful and the picture used is gorgeous. As for Sweet Evil, well it’s pretty self explanatory; eye-catching red dress, centered models… all the great makings of a pretty cover!
