About Me
My name is Brittany and I'm a 23 year old girl living in Australia. I'm currently studying at University and majoring in writing and literature. I also work as a graphic artist for a local media company. I'll pretty much read anything, but I like Young Adult books the most, especially ones that contain anything supernatural, paranormal or historical. I've been an avid reader all my life and don't plan on changing that any time soon.

Mouth-Watering Monday is a new weekly meme started by myself (Brittany) at Nice Girls Read Books. As book bloggers, we love to admire pretty covers, old and new. This meme takes the guilt out of judging a book by its cover, instead embracing it and showing off our favourite finds of the week!

You can show off one or more of your most mouth-watering covers!

Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
Spellcaster by Cara Lynn Schultz
The Selection by Keira Cass
Something Strange & Deadly by Susan Dennard

I absolutely adore the vibrant reds in Girl of Nightmares. I only wish the cover for its predecessor, Anna Dressed in Blood were as eye-catching. But, my favourite of these four covers has to be The Selection by Keira Cass. That dress! The icy blue covers! The mystery behind the model’s pose! The font and ornate design!!! I can’t wait to read this one next year! As for Spellcaster, I love the simplicity behind this cover teamed with the font. It matches Spellbound perfectly! Loving the leafy-green theme. The gradient of colours featured in Something Strange and Deadly is also really eye-catching – this is another debut I can’t wait to read!

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by The Story Siren, which allows bloggers to share what books they’ve received in the past week. They can be from stores, contests, tours or publishers!

I only got four books over the past week, but here is what I got…

The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa (thanks to Publishers)
Touch of Power (ARC) by Maria V. Snyder (thanks to Publishers)
Last Breath by Rachel Caine (thanks to Publishers)
Spellbound by Cara-Lynn Shultz (trade)

I forgot to include Spellbound in another post, so here it is this week, hah! Still haven’t gotten around to reading it just yet. Amazingly, I got Touch of Power by Maria V Snyder – which I featured as my WOW this week – thanks to the amazing people at Harlequin Teen, along with The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa *squee*. The awesome team at Penguin also sent me out a copy of Last Breath by Rachel Caine!

Link up your mailbox and I’ll be sure to check it out!
