Waiting on Wednesday XXVIII, Ten Thousand Skies Above You

September 16, 2015

Waiting on Wednesday was started by Breaking the Spine and serves to showcase those pesky books that aren’t released yet, but that we’re eagerly awaiting! This week, my WoW is…

Ever since she used the Firebird, her parents’ invention, to cross into alternate dimensions, Marguerite has caught the attention of enemies who will do anything to force her into helping them dominate the multiverse—even hurting the people she loves. She resists until her boyfriend, Paul, is attacked and his consciousness scattered across multiple dimensions.

Marguerite has no choice but to search for each splinter of Paul’s soul. The hunt sends her racing through a war-torn San Francisco, the criminal underworld of New York City, and a glittering Paris where another Marguerite hides a shocking secret. Each world brings Marguerite one step closer to rescuing Paul. But with each trial she faces, she begins to question the destiny she thought they shared.

I just finished reading A Thousand Pieces of You the other day and really enjoyed it! I know this one isn’t too far off now, but I really can’t wait. That cover? Possibly more gorgeous than the first! And although the first book felt pretty nicely wrapped up, looks like Ten Thousand Skies Above You is going to tear everything to pieces! EXCITEMENT.

What are you waiting on this week?
Are you excited to read Ten Thousand Skies Above You?

I adore the covers for these but I wasn’t keen on the synopsis, but I’ve seen a lot of good things so I might just have to suck it up and read them haha.
